NodalWire transformed a disconnected boat and RV storage property in Krum, Texas into one centrally managed network—combining Starlink, cellular backup, Wi-Fi, cameras, and operational IoT systems.
01 Challenge
The storage facility had no practical broadband option from a major terrestrial carrier. Individual systems existed across the property, but they were not operating as one connected environment.
The office, storage area, cameras, wireless devices, and operational IoT systems needed dependable internet access and a common network. The challenge was not to build a complicated network. It was to make the entire property work as one dependable system.

02 Solution
NodalWire designed the property around Starlink as the primary internet connection, avoiding dependence on unavailable terrestrial broadband.
The Starlink connection was integrated with a Cisco Meraki gateway, providing centralized network management and a secondary cellular connectivity path for backup. From the gateway, a 16-port network switch created the wired foundation for the property.
The network then connected office and storage-area Wi-Fi, security cameras, property monitoring systems, IoT devices, occupancy-related operational systems, and other connected equipment.
03 Benefit
The completed network gave the property a practical connectivity foundation without waiting for traditional broadband infrastructure.
Starlink provided the primary broadband connection, cellular connectivity added a resilient alternate path, and wireless access extended coverage beyond the office. Cameras, monitoring systems, and IoT devices could operate through a common network.
Property management could monitor available spaces, connected devices, camera status, and other property systems from a centralized environment—while keeping the architecture simple enough to expand with additional cameras, sensors, access control, and IoT devices.
Properties outside traditional broadband coverage can still operate with a reliable, centrally managed network. By combining the right primary connection, resilient backup, managed networking, Wi-Fi, and IoT integration, NodalWire turned a disconnected storage facility into a connected operational property.
